Today’s NFP Report in the USA came in slightly higher than expected. Previously in March, all non-agricultural jobs increased by 245,000. The expected change for April was an increase in Payrolls of 205,000s and the actual came in at 215,000.
This makes for the 5th month out of the last 6 months with job growth over 200,000 which is positive for the USD outlook. Additionally, with wage growth increasing above expectations and other factors, we are looking at added impetus for a interest rate hike toward the end of the year.
